Evelyn Easton

Writer & Storyteller

To write is to flick words at a canvas. To be in thrall to the propositional realms while armed only with a slim dictionary. Writing is to look for possibilities, to dance with logic, to give pleasure, and to communicate.

I write to be free. I write to devour ideas whole, and I write to bury thoughts as fossils for the future.

So come on this journey, lose and find yourself, and read a little with me.

A little about me

Words are king.

Every story begins somewhere unremarkable. Mine began in the late 20th century, a boy mesmerised by words who lost himself in books that told of far off places and the impossible vastness of life.

I didn't come to writing naturally, but fell into it over time, driven by a desire to explore beyond the confines of today and find out where the words would carry me.
